Hogshill
This scheme provides 39 extra care apartments together with a communal lounge and support facilities.
Prior to the works commencing on site, extensive clearance work was required to unlock the potential of the site. A new access road was also required which involved extensive liaison with the local highways authority.
During the site clearance works the team had to sensitively deal with the local badger population and protect a giant redwood tree which occupies the middle of the site.
The successful scheme which is now complete features the use of cedar cladding, cedar hung tiles and a sedum green roof.
