Winners announced at KEiBA 2011

We are delighted to announce that the winner of the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award was presented to Luke Quilter of Sleeping Giant Media at a glittering awards ceremony on Thursday 30^thJune in Folkestone’s Leas Cliff Hall.

Denne were delighted to sponsor the Young Entrepreneur of the Year category in partnership with the Kent Foundation for the 2011 Kent Excellence in Business Awards.  Head judges, Graham Brown and Paul Barron, Director of the Kent Foundation said how rewarding and inspiring the process was.

“We were looking for people with youthful enthusiasm and a mature strategy.  As an individual award we were assessing the entrepreneur not his/her business.  We were impressed that so many of our young business people are demonstrating great success in their chosen business sector, winning large and small contracts and running highly efficient businesses that employ many people.”

We offer our congratulations to the winner Luke, as well as the runners up in the category, Owen Hunnam of Vine Publishing and Dan Richards of Animate and Create.  We would also like to thank all the applicants for their presentations, sincerity and hospitality.
