We are pleased to announce that two of our sites have been awarded with a National Considerate Constructors Bronze Award 2011. The Considerate Constructors Scheme Annual National Site Awards are given to only the highest scoring 7½% of sites registered.
The Considerate Constructors Scheme commits contractors to be considerate and good neighbours, as well as clean, respectful, safe, environmentally conscious, responsible and accountable.
Ebenezer Chapel in Brighton is a development of 49 1, 2, and 3 bedroom flats for rent, shared ownership and private sale for Hyde Housing Association. The project also comprised the redevelopment of an existing chapel on the site. The site team were commended for their considerate approach during construction as well as their involvement in local community initiatives.
The Stanhope Regeneration PFI scheme saw the refurbishment of 325 council owned properties to ‘Decent Homes’ standard. Working in occupied properties, a considerate approach was essential to the successful completion of the project. Our Resident Liaison Officer worked tirelessly with the residents to ensure a smooth transition into the newly refurbished homes. The site team were also commended at the awards for their clean and considerate approach.
Please see the project pages for more details of these award-winning schemes.
