This year, Nick Slade of Denne Construction will be running the Virgin London Marathon to raise money for the Kent Walk to School charity.

 

As principle sponsor, Denne have supported this charity, otherwise known at the Kent and Medway Walking Bus, since its inception some 6 years ago.  It is an extremely worthy charity that is encouraging young children in Kent to walk to school whilst promoting social interaction and healthy lifestyles.

 

Nick is looking forward to the challenge and is delighted to be supporting a charity that is not only helping the environment by removing car journeys from the roads but helping children to lead a healthier lifestyle.
