Denne win double at Kent Excellence in Business Awards 2010

Denne were named as a double award winners at this year’s Kent Excellence in Business Awards.  After being announced as Employer of the Year, we then went on to collect the award for Commitment to the Community.

The Employer of the Year Award was presented to Denne because of the emphasis we place on our relationships with clients, suppliers, staff and the community: a commitment at the heart of our business philosophy. Judges said that, although there were a few stars amongst the entrants, Denne "Shone brighter than most".

For the Commitment to the Community Award, Denne was chosen because of the projects we have undertaken in the communities in which we work. This includes taking on local employees and setting up National Skills Academies to train local apprentices in the skills needed to work in construction.  In addition to this, we also support the Kent and Medway Walk to School charity . Judges praised us for seeing every member of the community as a neighbour.
