Amherst Court care home handed over to Avante

Denne have successfully completed and handed over Amherst Court - an £8 million residential care home in Medway, to Avante Care & Support.  The development which will be home to 112 residents with dementia, was designed in line with the Eden Principles - a new philosophy that aims to reduce lonliness, helplessness and boredom.

Designed by Clague Architects and completed in 18 months, the home offers the highest quality of design including the 112 ensuite bedrooms arranged in suites where residents can benefit from light and airy communal lounges and dining rooms.  Additional leisure facilities in the home include a cafe, shop, beauty salon and landscaped gardens to be enjoyed by the residents and their visitors.
